On the 1st September, we will be welcoming a new staff member.  We will say goodbye to Gillian Sloan Donachy and Lynne Conway who have been our joint Course Leads for our Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (CAP) course.  We thank them for their leadership and guiding our course staff and students.  Lynne and Gillian have transformed the CAP training at HDS in their 8 years leading the course, ensuring it stays up to date and current.  They leave us with a widely-respected training which we are very proud of.

We will be welcoming Kasia Zych who will take over as Course Lead.

Kasia completed the pre-clinical training with Scottish Institute of Human Relations and the clinical training with HDS.  Since qualifying, Kasia has worked for NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde in CAMHS and since in Wee Minds Matter, Infant Mental Health Service. Over the years, Kasia has taught on various courses for HDS including the 5 week Infant Mental Health course, Therapeutic Work with Children and Young People course and CAP training.

Kasia’s original background is in the arts and prior to training as a Child & Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist she worked with various organisations including The Big Issue Scotland and Teenage Cancer Trust.
