In terms of costs, we offer two fee options. One is with qualified counsellors for open-ended work at £50 per session. The other is with trainee counsellors at £20-£30 per session based on what you’re able to contribute. Unlike qualified counsellors with whom the sessions are open-ended, with trainee counsellors you’d have up to 20 sessions with a possibility of extension for another block of 20 sessions.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a weekly commitment that happens at the same time and place each week. Most of our counsellors work within the normal office hours between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, with little to no evening or weekend availability. If you’re looking for an evening or weekend slot, you may need to wait longer or get in touch with a different service.
