Counsellor vacancy to support EAP in Angus area

Are you a counselling professional with experience of working with employees in the public, private or Third Sector?

HDS supports employees through Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). Our counsellors can assist with a wide range of issues such as stress and anxiety, depression, bereavement or trauma related issues, for example.

Employees who access this service through their EAP may seek counselling or therapy at times of change in the organisation or as a result of difficulties in performing their individual role, for example.  They may also need some help working through issues in their personal life which can affect their performance at work.  Speaking to a counsellor or therapist about the problem can feel like a huge step forward.

We have a vacancy in our counselling team specifically to support employees that are based in the Angus area where the counsellor would need to be able to provide in-person counselling from their own location

We are interested in hearing from counsellors who meet the following criteria:

  • It is essential that applicants hold a recognised qualification in psychodynamic counselling/psychotherapy.
  • Be a Registered member of an appropriate professional organisation: e.g., BPC, COSCA, BACP, UKCP.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to evidenced CPD.
  • Be prepared to take part in audit processes as outlined in our full criteria.
  • Have supervision by an experienced psychodynamic practitioner.
  • Experience of working with employees in the public, private or Third Sector.
  • Available to provide both in-person sessions in Angus area and online counselling sessions.
