Prospective students looking to enrol for our professional training. We offer training courses for professionals working particularly in the NHS, social services, education, private practice and voluntary sector, for example. Summary Join us for our in-person* Open Day this May. We are delighted to welcome visitors to our Glasgow offices where our Training Suite and the HDS library are located. The Open Day is an opportunity for prospective students to find out more and speak to our teaching staff about our academic courses. Our academic courses: Professional Doctorate in Child & Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (CAP) MSc Psychoanalytic Observation and Reflective Practice: Therapeutic Work with Children and Young People (TWCYP) Masters, Diploma or Certificate in Human Relations and Counselling (HRC) Foundations of Human Relations and Counselling (FHRC) Certificate in Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling Children, Young People and Families (CYPF) We hope you will join us and we look forward to meeting you. *Please note that whilst this is an in-person event, pre-registration is required as we continue to ensure that the health of visitors and staff is our priority. HDS follows the Scottish Government COVID-19 guidelines and we ask that visitors follow the guidelines accordingly. This video was recorded for our virtual Open Day. 18:00 Open Day begins Pre-book a 15-minute Question and Answer (Q&A) meeting with our teaching staff. An ideal opportunity to ask questions unique to your circumstances to help you decide on whether to pursue professional training with HDS. Limited spaces so please book early using the booking form below. Pre-book a short student support services talk which includes a tour of the HDS library. The Jock Sutherland Library is available to all our students during the course of their studies. When booking your Q&A meeting, you will be asked if you would like to book this talk and tour (which takes place after your Q&A meeting). 20:00 Open Day finishes Whilst the Open Day officially ends, you can watch the video presentations on our website. If you have more questions for our teaching staff, you can still contact us. Keeping our visitors and staff COVID-19 safe Whilst this is an in-person event, we continue to ensure that the health of visitors and staff is our priority. HDS follows the Scottish Government COVID-19 guidelines and we ask that visitors follow the guidelines accordingly. To keep this event COVID-19 safe, we will take the following steps: Pre-registration is required to attend the Open Day so we can monitor the number of people attending our indoor event. Q&A meetings and the student support services talk and library tour will take place in a ventilated office where windows will be open. Our offices provide hand sanitiser and we respect those who choose to wear face coverings (some of our staff may choose to do this).
